Under various Districtwide Office of Modal Development’s contracts, via planning, inc. staff has contributed to a range of multi-modal planning and transit-related projects. Key tasks have included refining the multimodal scoping checklist (MMSC), developing map series and questionnaire templates, collaborating with local agencies, and coordinating with design project managers and the Scope Refinement Team. The team also provided services related to the Shared-Use Non-motorized (SUN) Trail, BCT’s Transit Signal Priority evaluation, a parking and wayfinding study for Downtown Fort Lauderdale, as well as conducting origin-destination studies, HOV monitoring reports, and on-board surveys.
