Traffic Impact Study

  • Identify traffic impacts and requirements in development application reviews needed for developments to be consistent with City Codes and goals of Comprehensive Plans to provide a safe and multimodal transportation system
  • Assist private development clients with conducting traffic studies for development and redevelopment projects such as gas stations, residential properties, commercial/retail centers, mixed-use developments, schools, and banks

Traffic Projection

  • Prepare traffic projections in the State of Florida, including those for resurfacing, road widening, and roadway extension projects
  • Prepare traffic projections for determining traffic impact assessment
  • Support interchange reports, Project Development & Environmental studies, 18-KIP ESAL reports, and noise analyses

Lane Repurposing / Complete Streets

  • Support FDOT D4 Planning and Environmental Management Office (PLEMO) and Office of Modal Development (OMD) on Lane Repurposing application development and review
  • Contributed to the award-winning Wilton Drive Lane repurposing project in Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors

Safety Analysis

  • Dedicated to creating safer communities for residents and visitors alike
  • Work for safety related projects including to complete crash-related statistical analyses, preparing collision diagrams, summarizing crash reports, and proposing countermeasures
  • Address safety issues by using safety analysis tools such as Signal Four Analytics, the Highway Safety Manual (HSM), and FHWA’s PEDBIKESAFE

Traffic Calming

  • Provide services to assist with neighborhood traffic calming strategies to enhance safety in residential areas
  • Provide comprehensive services that span from performing field visits, data collection and providing site specific countermeasures
  • Speed management traffic calming program, before and after evaluatio

Parking Analysis

  • Conduct parking generation studies for site developments
  • Explore parking requirement reduction strategies
  • Support Cities in establishing regulations for parking spaces requirements and amendments to cities parking codes

Document Reviews

  • Assist state and local agencies assisting with reviewing traffic engineering documents
  • Help clients better understand projects and the impacts that come with them
  • Develop strategies to efficiently address project needs while minimizing impacts to communities, and roadways for all users
  • Provide technical support with development review for municipalities
  • Discuss methodologies, review submitted technical reports, and maintain development databases
